68 Deli Bagel & Grill Information

Tucked into a small plaza at 1116 Eastchester Dr #112 in High Point, 68 Deli Bagel & Grill is one of those spots that feels like a neighborhood secret the moment you walk in. The first thing that hits you is the smell-fresh bagels, sizzling bacon, and that comforting deli aroma that instantly makes you hungry, even if you weren’t planning to eat.

The menu leans heavily into classic deli fare, but it’s the kind of place where the basics are done really well. Their bagels are clearly the star, with a chewy texture and just the right balance between soft and crisp. Whether you go for a simple cream cheese spread or something more stacked like an egg-and-cheese breakfast sandwich with sausage, everything tastes fresh and made to order. I tried a bacon, egg, and cheese on an everything bagel, and it had that perfect ratio-no dry bites, no overpowering grease, just a solid, satisfying breakfast that felt like it was made with care.

Beyond breakfast, the grill side of the menu holds its own. Sandwiches are generously portioned, often spilling over the edges of the bread, and come with fillings that don’t feel skimpy. A pastrami sandwich I sampled had that classic deli warmth, with tender meat and just enough seasoning to keep it interesting without going overboard. It’s the kind of meal that makes you pause halfway through and think, yeah, this place knows what it’s doing.

The atmosphere is casual and unpretentious, which fits the diner-style vibe perfectly. It’s not trying to be trendy or upscale-just clean, comfortable, and welcoming. There’s a steady flow of regulars, which says a lot about the consistency. Service matches that energy too. Orders come out quickly, and the staff are friendly in a way that feels genuine, not scripted.

Reviews from locals often mention reliability, and that lines up with the experience. It’s the type of spot you return to because you know exactly what you’re going to get-good food, fair prices, and a relaxed environment. While it may not have the polish of a big-city deli, it delivers where it counts, especially if you’re craving a hearty breakfast or a no-nonsense sandwich in a convenient High Point location.

What People's Say About Place

My parents and I stopped by 68 Bagels and Grill this afternoon. The staff were great and helped us understand what options were available. They were low on a few kinds of bagels, but it was 1:20 when we arrive (and they close at 2:00). I had the pepperoni pizza bagel on a pizza bagel and it was amazing. I was worried about the bagel being too bready or chewy, but it was the perfect ratio and was toasted just right. My mum’s waffle was lightly done and a delight. Dad liked his buffalo chicken wrap-and it was an easy switch to remove the blue cheese dressing in favor of ranch. We’ll definitely be back-there are several other bagels to try, plus omelets and French toast options. Plus, their homemade chicken salad is one with no fancy extras (nuts, fruit, etc), which my dad prefers, so we may have to get some of that too.

Our family was very impressed with this place. The owners/family have great service. The prices are not crazy, especially for the quality of the food & the many different options/variety.l, the food was yummy! It's very clean & the atmosphere is very relaxing. And I really enjoy that you can just go in and order instead of waiting for a server. Such a blessing I pray that God continue to bless this family and establishment.

This place is a GEM. The food is amazing and MADE TO ORDER and fresh every single time. I love everything I've tried on the menu (pancakes, wraps, waffles, eggs and turkey bacon/sausage, bagels, cream cheese). I can't hype this place up enough. Most importantly- the family that owns this place are some of the most kind people. Their customer service, culinary skills and kindness makes this a place to visit regularly. I would love to keep it to myself but I know others are looking for good service and good food, like we used to have- and 68 Deli Bagel and Grill has it!

First time in and not my last. My experience was good, the bagel options were great with a lot of variety. The breakfast sandwiches were made well and the portions were good. Iced coffee was ok, not brewed in house but was stok which I personally buy to drink at home so it was fine, they did jazz it up with some flavoring and spice. All in all good and can’t wait to try their lunch.

First time here and everyone loved what they ordered! Service was great, the owner is very accommodating and of course food tasted wonderful. Food was fairly priced and came out quickly after we ordered which was an added bonus! The space itself was clean and has plenty of seating. We Couldn’t leave without ordering some bagels and hand-whipped cream cheese to take home! Definitely will be back

Awesome diner place a new gem in High Point. Delicious food! Located in the very corner of the plaza behind Gianno’s restaurant off Eastchester Dr. Excellent family owned business with amazing ice coffees that blew Starbucks away! MANY Bagel & cream cheese choices, wide variety of sandwiches. Open breakfast & lunch only. Affordable prices!

This was my first visit to 68 Bagel & we were impressed. The berry pancakes were delicious! We received 4 super fluffy pancakes, hot & soft with strawberries, blueberries and butter & syrup on the side. It was enough food for 3 people. There are a ton of cream cheese & bagel flavors (many more than Panera) and many breakfast foods like french toast, egg plates, hash browns, sandwiches, omelettes, etc… We will definitely return to try more dishes here.

This little cafe is a new spot in town to get some breakfast, and so we decided to try it. We visited on a Saturday morning, and there was no crowd (Yet. People haven't heard of this place but they will!), so we had our choice of seats and tables. We ordered a simple breakfast plate with a bagel on the side, and an entree of French Toast covered in berries. The coffee was nice and hot from the carafes along the sidewall, with a nice but simple set of flavor choices. Better taste, quality, and serving temperature than Panera! The food was really really good, if a bit simple. French Toast was flavorful with blueberry and strawberry topping per my choice, and no syrup needed because the fruit "cobbler filling" medley that accompanied the berries was plenty of sweetness. The standard breakfast plate was also good, hash browns not quite crispy but almost, with a spinach bagel on the side that really stood out. As a transplanted northerner, I can't help but wonder about the origin story on their bagels, but it tasted excellent. The atmosphere in this restaurant was sort of "echo chamber impersonal" due to the bare industrial look, but I can see this place growing personality quickly. And let me qualify, I wouldn't necessarily be offended if they had HPU flair around, but I would prefer something more creative LOL. The decor just needs a little work, but it was certainly clean and serviceable. What really set this visit apart was the service. Five stars all the way. Their staff is super attentive, friendly, and welcoming, the kind of interaction that makes your day better after you've had it! Kudos to the team working here and they made us want to come back as soon as possible.
